About the tool
The Inland Equity Grid (IEG) is a collaborative pilot project led by Building Resilient Communities and the Public Health Alliance of Southern California. The IEG works to strengthen community resilience by connecting partners, sharing resources, and leveraging data to advance equity across the Inland region. Through cross-sector collaboration, the IEG supports informed decision-making, coordinated action, and solutions that address systemic challenges impacting vulnerable communities. To learn more about the IEG, visit brcus.org/inlandequitygrid.
This pilot phase is funded by the California Air Resources Board through California Climate Investments, which uses billions of Cap-and-Invest dollars to fund projects that reduce harmful emissions, protect public health, strengthen local economies, and support natural environments.
Beyond the pilot phase, we aim to expand the Inland Equity Grid to encompass Southern California in phase 2 and the entirety of California phase 3, while adding additional features and functionality. If you are interested in supporting this work please contact Building Resilient Communities at info@brcus.org.
